Biography
Filippi is a graduate of the esteemed GolfRSA National Squad and plays out of Milnerton Golf Club in the Cape. Following a stellar amateur career, Filippi launched his professional career at the 2020 Betway Championship where he finished 39th.
His breakthrough win, however, would come three years later when Filippi won the Blue Labe Challenge in 2023. Added to that individual win, Filippi also boasts the Bain's Whisky Ubunye Teams Challenge title with Ryan Van Velzen which they claimed in 2023.
With 17 tournament top 1- finishes to his name, Filippi has proven himself a capable competitor in the professional ranks and will aim for more victories in the near future.
