Biography
A one-time winner on the Betway Big Easy Tour, the Silver Lakes Golf Estate player obtained his Sunshine Tour playing rights at Qualifying School and looks at home among the elite golfers in the country.
Between 2018 and 2023, Van Buynder played college golf at the University of Louisiana where he played as a sophomore, junior, and senior before turning pro in 2024.
While a maiden win is yet to go his way, Van Buynder has given a solid account of himself. In the first 10 Sunshine Tour events of his rookie season, the University of Louisiana alumnus has made the cut six times.
