Biography
Van Niekerk has not won on Tour but has shown glimpses of a great golfer over the years. In 2023, Van Niekerk finished third in the Fortress Invitational, the closest he has come to winning a Sunshine Tour event.
He was sixth at the FBC Zimbabwe Open in 2023, an encouraging result for one who is still chasing his maiden title. In 2022, Van Niekerk recorded two top-10 finishes ? eighth at the FNB Eswatini Challenge and seventh at the Vodacom Origins of Golf in San Lameer.
