Biography
Robin Tiger Williams is a South African-born British golfer who plays out of Peterborough Milton Golf Club in the United Kingdom. He earned his Sunshine Tour playing privileges after winning the Altron Vusi Ngubeni Tournament; one of the Tour's developmental and transformational initiatives in April 2022.
He claimed his maiden title on any Sunshine Tour-sanctioned event when he won the 10th Blue Label Development Tour's one-day event at Killarney Country Club. Williams bagged two more victories in his rookie season; one in the Altron Big Easy Tour and the other being the Sunshine Tour's Fortress Invitational which was played at Glendower Golf Club.
Williams' got a third-place finish at the 2024 Dimension-Data Pro-Am, a sixth-place finish in the SunBet Challenge - Time Square and eighth-place finishes at Zanaco Masters and the PGA Championship 2021.
He was named the Fortress Rookie of the Year on the Sunshine Tour in 2023 and earned himself a European Challenge Tour card. On his return to South Africa for the 2024 edition of the Fortress Invitational, Williams emerged victorious again, winning this title back-to-back. One his highlights was his T4 finish at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
